Unsolicited Submission Policy

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (“Library”) is actively engaged in the construction of its facility and the acquisition and development of related products and services.  The Library welcomes public comments regarding TR memorabilia and information, and constituent feedback on Library offerings and activities. However, the Library has a policy that does not allow the Library or its employees, to accept any unsolicited ideas, suggestions, proposals, product or service concepts or creative works and the like (collectively, “Unsolicited Submissions”) on a confidential basis, or to agree to review, consider, or otherwise use any Unsolicited Submissions.

Please do not submit any Unsolicited Submissions to the Library or any of its employees.  This policy is intended to avoid any misunderstandings if Library exhibitions, research, products or services developed independently by the Library include ideas, concepts, features or improvements that were also suggested through Unsolicited Submissions.  Due to the extensive public interest in the Library, we hope you can understand that we cannot acknowledge or respond to Unsolicited Submissions, and are under no obligation to return any Unsolicited Submissions or maintain the confidentiality of any Unsolicited Submissions.  Any Unsolicited Submissions received by the Library will be the property of the Library for use by the Library in its sole discretion.
